This working group was set up at GMW Doha where attendees gathered to discuss the pain points faced by pilgrims and an initial ideation / problem solving session took place.This page dives deeper into the multitude of issues pilgrims face at various points in their journey with an accompanying report documenting relevant statistics, constraints, current solutions and more.This page aims to provide the relevant tools that developers, founders and inventors need to help move the needle of innovation in the pilgrimage space.

A significant challenge faced by local authorities is the amount of food wastage on Hajj. Some report this is at 20 - 40%!
